The Shaelyn Band offers a high-energy mix of classic soul, deep blues, funky grooves, and rock. They are guaranteed to ignite the dance floor with a live show that is soulful, fierce, and sure to get you moving.
Chris Beard, known as the "Prince of the Blues," is an accomplished electric blues singer, guitarist, and songwriter. He blends the blues tradition with modern R&B, adding a heavy dose of funk, and earns him a reputation as one of today's great guitarists.

Welcome to Plattsburgh Blues and Jazz, (a 5013C organization), where music transcends borders, and we bring the soul of music to life in the heart of the North Country.
Our mission is simple—connect our community with a host of different world-class musical experiences that inspire, unite, and uplift. From legendary artists and Grammy and Blues Music Award winners to rising stars, our events create a space for music lovers to gather, celebrate, and discover new sounds. Each musical performance is more than just a concert; it's a party and an opportunity for cultural exchange, shared joy, and a deeper appreciation of live music.
We bring in all genres of music, mix professional touring bands with local talent, go into the schools to inspire kids, and bring live music to venues and spaces throughout the North Country.
Nestled in the vibrant community of Plattsburgh, we are a haven for music lovers, offering unforgettable performances by world-class artists, local talents, and emerging stars. Already known as a lakeside destination for year-round outdoor activities just miles from Burlington VT, the Adirondacks, and Montreal Canada. Plattsburgh Blues and Jazz (PB&J) is a nonprofit corporation chartered in the State of New York. It is a group of people formed to promote the influx of music and cultural activities to the Plattsburgh area. The IRS has certified it as a 501(c)(3) organization, and it is registered with the New York State Attorney General’s Charities Bureau.
