Plattsburgh Blues and Jazz is so excited to present Eric Gales on Friday Febuary 2nd at Retro Live. He is perhaps one of the top electric guitar players in the world. At he age of 16 he was a guitar child prodigy and hailed as the “second coming of Jimi Hendrix”. Here are some quotes, that sing Eric praises:

Eric is “One of the best, if not the best guitar player in the world” Joe Bonamassa.
“He is absolutely incredible” Carlos Santana
“How Eric Gales isn’t the hugest name in rock guitar is a total mystery” Dave Navarro
“This guy could be the best player on Earth” Mark Tremonti
He played with Santana in 1994 at Woodstock, was on the Experience Hendrix Tour with Billy Cox and Mitch Mitchell. He now headlines festivals around the world and has a rock/jazz fusion style that is a cross between Mikes Davis and Hendrix. He has 14 studio albums and many collaborations with everyone in the world of music. With problems with addiction now in the past, he talks about it opening and is musically reborn, more free and focused then ever before with some of his strongest work. On his latest album “Middle of The Road” he collaborates with Lauryn Hill and Gary Clark Jr.
He is bringing in his 4 piece group that will command the stage, sweep people away and then melt faces off.
